Lori and staff are terrific and their showroom in Paso Robles is delightful to browse through the vast selections of floorings of all types! The helpful, well prepared, knowledgable staff is ready to help with advice if asked or allow you the comfort to just take in all they have in the very presentable showroom. They are very supportive with sending the customer with samples to view in your own space and/or come out to offer best suggestions should the customer need some guidance. The installers are great both in scheduling work to be done, manners, cleanliness of job site, and talent with getting job done promptly and with excellence.

We have had such an excellent experience with Taylor from Bay Area Floors. We first reached out at the beginning of summer to take a look at some samples, and through lots of trial and iteration, Taylor has been an amazing support. We are absolutely thrilled with how our floors came out. The work is flawless, and working with Bay Area Floors and Design exceeded our expectations. They had to work within a particular time frame, which they met even though they ran into some wood damage that was not visible initially. We worked with Bryan Mcdade, and he was terrific. I also called the office with a quick follow up question, and I was able to chat with Lori, the owner. She gave me some terrific advice about extending the wear of the floors. We would not use anyone else in the future.

Went there today to buy utilitarian type carpet for our garage, not a huge order, but was treated with the same friendliness and professionalism as if It was a big deal. Seriously great customer service. We needed to carpet one room and they gave us great recommendations. Because we were doing just the one room they recommended remanence carpet to save on cost. They did not try to upsell us on their most expensive product. The installer came exactly during their window time and was so fast and our carpet turned out amazing. I would highly recommend this store and I would purchase from here again.

Bay Area Floors & Design removed old carpet and padding and installed new padding and carpet in our condo - two bedrooms, living room, dining room and four closets. The crew of three did a beautiful job! They were friendly, courteous, helpful, careful and precise with the furniture they moved and replaced - and worked very VERY hard! When the job was finished, they did an excellent job of cleaning up - not a stray thread was left in the hallways or elevator. We are thrilled with the beautiful carpet and will definitely call Bay Area Floors & Design for help with new flooring in our other home.

I have used Bay Area Floors and Design (BAFD) twice for flooring needs in my condo, once to install Luxury Vinyl Tile and second, to install carpet. Both times were a great experience. This review will focus on my most recent carpet installation. I was extremely satisfied with BAFD's customer service (Lori & Jackie), the installation process (Vincent and his wife) and the quality of the materials (linear pattern carpet and pad). My condo's HOA has strict policies in regards to modifications done within units and BAFD did an impeccable job dealing with my HOA by providing proper license and insurance documentation. In regards to Vincent and his wife, they were friendly, on time, efficient and knowledgeable in their craft. They took extreme care when moving my furniture around, which was not an easy task in some of the rooms. There were no hiccups with the installation. Lori, the owner, has done a wonderful job employing competent people for her company. Thanks Lori!I highly recommend BAFD for your flooring needs.

Replaced the old carpet in our bedrooms with new carpet from their nearly overwhelming selection of carpets, Jackie was good about getting us answers quickly, Lori helped us think through what kind of carpet to get - what kind of colors would fit the interior we wanted, what kind of density would fit our preference. allowed us to take home samples so we could compare in the actual space our own indecision caused us to order carpet we ended up not using - they aren't able to sell it but were willing to turn them into rugs very happy with workmanship and attention to detail with the actual carpet installation. the carpet is dense, the pad underneath feels solid -- each edge and corner is flush and neat even in the closets.

Twice had flooring purchased and installed from Bay Area Floors in San Mateo. My project manager Stephen was exceptional in his recommendations for my projects from helping me select in store materials to visiting my site to plan and scope project requirements. Both were small installs but he gave same attention as if I were a large install. When a minor adjustment in materials was required, Stephen immediately took care with a great solution. Bay Area does not charge extra for this outstanding service. It is built into the basic and very reasonable cost of their flooring. It is great to have this traditional business still alive and well in our community. Flooring was a major improvement in my home. I’m glad I chose quality.

They just finished my whole downstairs flooring yesterday! The job was to replace existing carpets with waterproof wood-looking floor. I don't remember the name of the materials, but gosh they looked great! We walked into the store a couple of months ago, looked at a few different options. To give you a little background of our project. Our downstairs was FLOODED! Stephen explained different materials to us, and came to our house for an in home consultation the next day. He emailed us a quote a week later, and we have decided to sign. The materials we chose was special ordered. It took about 3 weeks to come. Then the owner Lori called (and emailed)and scheduled our project for installation. Luis's crew came on Monday morning right at 8:30, they worked until 4pm. A full day of work, no cutting corners! Initially Lori estimates the job would take 4 days but guess what?! They finished in TWO days! I'm very happy with them and would recommend them to all my families and friends! My favorite part of their crew is they cleaned up after they are done! Left no mess behind! Our kitchen is next, Stephen is going to bing in a special installer to look at the job. I will update you all once it's completed!

Perfection! The BAF team installed the most beautiful Boen Hardwood Floor and Fabrica carpet. I received 3 quotes and BAF was the lowest. The team was super knowledgeable and responsive. We just bought a 1920’s co-op building in San Francisco with many rules and regulations regarding new floor installs and sound installation. Stephen and Lori were super helpful in researching different suppliers, gettig samples and seeking solutions to meet the high standard of the board. the BAF team knows how to work with luxury buildings in the City and the rules and regulations limitations.
